So, it turns out that people were right. You can meet someone through Facebook. I was strongly encouraged to open a Facebook account in order to become more social and increase my chances of meeting someone. Surprise, surprise...one week later this guy, "Max" contacts me. Seeing that we had mutual friends in common, I messaged my good friend Valerie to find out who he was. Once assured that he was not some crazy guy, but "such a great and funny" guy, I responded. Some messages were exchanged and a meeting was set for a few days later. The "great and funny" guy turned up hungover, which strangely enough, I found it rather amusing. Nevertheless, he turned out to be a perfect gentleman and my interest was defintely piqued. After that, I saw him every weekend and six months later, we were living together. Obviously, I knew before him that he was the "ONE", who I wanted to spend the rest of my life with - married or not. Cherry on top is that he wants to marry me!!!

Sorpresa, sorpresa...una settimana dopo questo ragazzo, "Max", mi contatta. Vedendo che avevamo amici in comune, ho scritto alla mia buona amica Valerie per scoprire chi fosse. Una volta assicurata che non era un tipo strano, ma "un ragazzo così simpatico e divertente", ho risposto. Alcuni messaggi sono stati scambiati e un incontro è stato fissato per qualche giorno dopo. Il "ragazzo simpatico e divertente" si è presentato con i postumi di una sbornia, che stranamente ho trovato piuttosto divertente. Tuttavia, si è rivelato un perfetto gentiluomo e il mio interesse è stato sicuramente stuzzicato. Dopo di ciò, l'ho visto ogni weekend e sei mesi dopo, vivevamo insieme. Ovviamente, sapevo prima di lui che era "QUELLO GIUSTO", con cui volevo passare il resto della mia vita - sposati o no. La ciliegina sulla torta è che vuole sposarmi!!!
